Delsym is time released DXM... althogh 700mg still should have done something.

Next time get a bottle of Robitussin Max Cough 8oz. (make sure DXM is the only active ingredient). Drink the entire 8oz, wait an hour, smoke a huge bowl and lie in a dark bedroom with headphones on and eyes closed. Best way to do DXM in my opinion.

 

DXM usually takes an hour 45 to 2 hours to start working.


And in its pure form it's much better.

i've done 300 + mgs of dxm and it's pretty intense, 600 mgs should be much like an acid or shroom trip but in a dxm kind of way. It's probably just the time release thing that someone mentioned.

 

DXM is nothing at al like acid or shrooms. Maybe a little shroomy, but hardly.

It's nothing like it but it can be just as intense is what I was getting at. It's not really mind expanding, it's not really mind dulling either i dunno what i would call it. it's the dextroverse.

 

dxm is absolutely nothing like shrooms, from what i've experienced. on dxm i can't walk and i can't talk and i look like a monster and all i want to do is roll around in my bed and mumble weird shit to myself. on shrooms i mumble weird shit to myself and roll around on my bed but that's because i'm "exploring my sheets" in ways i have never explored them before.

idk, dxm was a really good prelude to more established trippy/mind fuck drugs (e, then shrooms) but i think i would be really disappointed doing it the other way around (e, then shrooms, then dxm). that being said i still think everyone doing drugs should do it at least once, it's certainly a unique experience. if nero isn't updating anymore he's probz feelin something i'd hope... computers + dxm = nothing good haha so perhaps he logged off.

in my dxm days i broke all the rules and took cccs. not too much, never more than a whole box. one box kicked the SHIT out of me though, i couldn't imagine going higher

 

I did dxm after I did shrooms and E. I certainly was not disappointed, in fact I was quite surprised by it's potency and trip it delivered. I just don't find it particularly euphoric or magic as shrooms and E. On the comedown I felt like my brain was literally frying. When I discovered ketamine I never touched dxm again.
