What do tennis and arson have in common ?

 

They both have an "s" in them?

Tennis balls doused in gasoline and lit on fire make for quick, easy, distance arson

 

umm how exactly can you throw an object already on fire? use asbestos gloves?

 

You'd only need to hold it to lob and smack with a racket.

Or you could always have a flame in front of you and smack the doused ball through it.
