Imagine, the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world for 1 week for free fell into your lap. Only you. It also must happen within 3 weeks, so you may have difficulty getting people to go with you. Where would you go? Let's see some lists . . . - spain - greece - italy - somewhere on the african savannah . . . kilimanjaro? - new zealand - Goa - amsterdam - thailand - colombia (for the mayan ruins, not the coke ) where would you go?
Toulouse Was supposed to be going but dont have the money and wont have my passport in time, Frenchtek next weekend from Friday till Monday and then the weekend after is the Aftertek. Proper gutted about that
Probably Italy's Chinqua Terra. It's a collection of small villages on the Mediterranean Sea connected by trails. It'd be fun to hike between them.
Do if ya want, Im going over to xxxx on your side of the pond for a tek being organised by 4 of the rigs that arent able to make Frogtek because of the distance. I have a feeling that Frenchtek is going to be fairly policed this year though as its been sanctioned by the government. Cant see it being half as good as the last years. Anyway if youre up for a mad weekend next weekend and are around the London area (might be more towards Wales though) then I can pm you the location if you want
Iceland... i hear shit is epic there this time of the century... That or somewhere else far away from people, with vast natural environments, be it hot or cold. Alaska sounds great, so does some uninhabited island in the pacific.
nice thread here are my ideas the amazon new zealand ireland thailand utila costa rica hawaii anywhere with ancient ruins also
Poland as well, theres a week long teknival going on out that way, should be a few thousand people at that. Would like to go there anyway.
I would rather go to Poland to see Poland, rather than a bunch of sweaty people, who I could see here any weekend
I'd go to Phan Fare in Morrisville, Pa. Its only a littlie over an hour away, but there ain't no place I'd rather be in the next 3 weeks.
i love smaller gatherings like that. we have some great ones in this area! never been to that one but heard good things about it.
