People on cell phones where they shouldn't be

Currently I am sitting in a library and across from me is a girl on a cell phone talking in a normal voice about her school work, bitching about people, and talking about animals.

I enjoy cell phones, they make our lives more convenient and they are portable and occasionally it's even interesting to listen to other people talk on them as to get a peak into these people's lives, but god damn is it annoying when people are on them in certain areas. I'm in a fucking library you couldn't at least have the decency to text or step outside for a couple minutes and talk. I also get pretty irritated at work (retail) when people come to my checkout and are on them. Let me clarify though, I only get angry when the person comes through without acknowledging me in anyway while on the cell phone. I really don't have a problem with a simple greeting and then going back to their conversation and then a simple thank you after the transaction is complete. I just feel that as an employee the customer should at least acknowledge my presence for their service. I don't really go to the movies that often but I imagine that would be another place where it would be annoying. Do any of you get annoyed by cell phone use in certain situations? If so where are some places where you get annoyed by cell phone use and/or what are some anecdotes you have of this related topic.

''hey you stupid **** get away from me before i shove that phone up your ass''


or you could be rude

 

Maybe she will leave the library with the phone still attached to her fuckin' face, get into her car and wrap that shit around a pole *fingers crossed*

And yeah, blabbermouths in the checkout line pissed me off too.. "That'll be $65 please.... ma'am... hello... *waves frantically in attempt to get attention*.. 'scuse me but you're holding up the line... ma'am?" "WHAT! Can't you see I'm on the phone you ignorant piece of minimum wage shit!!"

I use my phone allllllll the time!

I am not rude in checkouts though!

 

i can't stand people driving while they are talking on the phone...and people who SHOUT while they are on the phone...they shout so loud you might as well not even use a mobile they can probly hear you!

 

lolmy mum is bad at that, especially when shopping, the whole store hears her! whenever I call her I have to turn my phone down cause she's so loud!

I really enjoy talking on my phone while driving!

 

i hate going to class and half the damn kids are texting the whole time. like, come on people, this is college, you are paying to be here! and then later i hear these kids complain that they got a bad grade on a test or that the teacher sucks 'cause they haven't learned anything all semester. and they would learn if they'd get off their goddamn phones! it's annoying! and it's distracting to people like me who are actually trying to learn.
