You guys never played with battle beasts? I feel sorry, their chests glowed with like a picture of fire, logs, rain, and other stuff and that was their powers. God they were so cool.

I remember marbles being fucking cool. then it was pokemon.then beyblades. I use to play D&d when I was 13-14....I totaly feel like playing that now.

I had Magic card too when everyone was playing yugi-oh bullshit.

I had hella Pogs. I always made it a point to get the eightball Pogs. lol They were my favorites. I even had some collectable Apollo 13 Pogs. haha

I wish I still had all of them. Especially the slammers.

I was into other things too, like Magic, and Pokemon.. but they dont stand out as much as pogs do.. I wouldnt consider them to be as much as a craze as Pogs were, at least where I was when it swept the nation Kamloops B.C.
It was like the same time Billy Ray Cyrus put out Achey Breakey Heart LOL

 

i'm totally going to pitch the idea of bringing back pogs to the people in my house... yeahhh i hope it works!

we had pokemon cards (still have mine) and beyblades. the beyblades got banned because people were getting hurt and shit. but it was so fun to rip them down the playground slides... sucked for the asshole who was sitting at the bottom and got hit with it though

 

I'd love to know where my pogs are.

My sister and I didn't ever seem to play with them a lot, but we loved collecting them and had a Sylvester the Cat stomper.

They're just small circles of cardboard usually with designs and pictures on them.

I don't even remember how to play though.

 

This thread just sent me on an hour-long quest to find my old pogs, which I was certain were in this room, but I can't find them.
I found them a few years ago and was so excited to be going through them again... I miss them. I think I only played them maybe once. I just liked collecting them and looking at them.

 

I think someone puts down a certain number of pogs face up in a column, maybe a pile, then you use one of your slammers, to well slam. Any pogs that lands upside down you get to keep.
