I have searched and search for two years and I could never find anything that remotely gave me a clue as to why Donny Hathaway killed himself. (I kept thinking of things like secretly gay or infatuated with Roberta Flack.) I finally found out why but now I wonder how they kept it a secret for so long.
Having dealt with Borderline Personality Disorder (not nearly as bad as Schizophrenia) it's wierd how the floods of emotion can effect you in such wierd ways. I actually stayed loyal to my abusive husband instead of staying with the man I really loved and wanted and suicideal feelings were rampant. I can only imagine how he felt. People do wierd things when they have disorders like that. Liz
