We all know that staying fit/active can help keep you stay healthy, but what conditions do you guys know can be treated by staying active? The marketing company I work for recently picked up a campaign with the Arthritis Foundation and the Ad Council that is trying to teach Osteoarthritis sufferers that increased activity and staying in shape will help decrease the diseases effects and reduce pain. (The site for the campaign is FightArthritisPain.org) What other conditions do you guys know of that can be treated with an increased activity regimen?
depression, osteoporosis, heart disease, obesity, cancer.......what doesn't it helps? Our bodies are made to be in motion.
I guess the important thing is persistent movement gets the heart pumping, which gets the blood flowing which gets all of your bodies organs active and stops them being lethargic, keeps them fluid and in shape so to speak.
