Just a Circle Trying to Fit in a Square

I've been feeling pretty down lately. I feel like no one understands me. I feel like people are always making comments about me at my job. I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but it is. What is wrong with being a little different? I just need some rainbow love I guess. Does anyone else feel this way?

Ppl love you for who you are not how you dress. If they dont love you then turn them loose, they are just here for a moment and are just 'chair fillers' and dont make a difference in your life, so who cares what other ppl think about you, it's none of your business. It's their feelings and they must deal with it. Dont let it drag you down. Let it pass though you like light passing through glass. It's only when you 'trap' it does it become yours.

After many years of dressing like me,, the 80's were the hardest, I dont give a damn what others think any more. Ya gotta be you, and if your rainbow, you have art in you. Just be true to your self Bumble. You have worked hard and are a strong sister, fuck em if they cant handle it. Free spirited people like our selves are envied for our openess. Be happy, see ya this summer, spirit willing!

 

Be the nicest person at work. The most friendly and caring. Be the Master. Maybe you will teach them a valuable lesson, everyone of us needs to learn.

And if they dont learn, hey you were still the nicest you could be, and to learn to love is pretty much what life is all about, even when people are hating on you.

I have been on both sides of this scenario. I judge people still and I am in my thirties. Its a very hard habit to break, but just making an effort to not judge people, and understanding you really have no idea what that other human is or has gone through in life... really goes a long way.

Man I get a lot of shit from people, pretty much my whole life. I was always a chubby guy, even when I ran 5-10 miles a day in lacrosse. People often judged me for that. And of course once I became a bit of a 'crusty granola' type I added to estrangement.
But you know what, FUCK THEM! haha thats what I say, I am living my life and I am not gonna let other people's ignorance hold them AND ME down. Its bad enough its already holding them back in life, dont let it get two birds with one shot. Learn to be nice even when others are hating, and you will be a wiser, gentler, more confident person then you can ever imagine.

 

Fuck what people say and think. Be free, be you, and be happy. After all, you're alive and the world is yours! Peace

 

I feel a little better today. I'm too nice of a person and people take advantage of it.

 

Give freely like a well.

Those who are greedy will suffer the greatest thirst when it dries up.

Or practice discrimination. Make your fruits unpalatable to those who take for themselves.

Im the same way.

I am nice to people. Sometimes they don't show appreciation. Some have used me. I can hold the greatest resentment towards them for being so selfish. But I try not to.

Generous and nice people are one hell of a breed. We wither like a plant in desolate inhospitable soil when we are only surrounded by leaches. Yet we thrive when we are together like an old forest.

Be less nice/generous to those who take selfishly. Give less, and eventually give nothing to them. Wean them from your niceness.

 

Me and my boyfriend get the most sketch looks from my family and when we just walk down the street. Haha. I usually have big, messy hair, strange combinations of clothing, lots of funky jewelry, no shoes and am often dancing or talking about something strange and he wears a torn leather jacket and has lots of piercings. So yeah, we get looks and I don't think my family quite accepts the fact that we're weirdos but you know what? Who cares?! Have fun being different, even though I know the negativity from others can get old sometimes. All I can say is, embrace your weirdness.
