Did I miss something? Surely it's the 2nd of May. Where's the nice weather?

It's so cold outside, I've thought of making a stew for dinner. My toes have frozen; so I'm all bundled up with a couple of pairs of socks now.

    Where's the sunshine? :(

It came and went. It was lovely all week until the weekend, you know how typical British weather is.

Monday morning comes and people will go back to the office, sleeves rolled high and wishing they were laying on the grass outside bare arsed- whilst holding a can of Carling and an inflatable hammer :D

It will be nice and sunny again.

Not many, I would imagine - it's a Bank Holiday.;)

And the weather isn't all that unusual...most years you tend to get a bit of a cold snap around the start of May, that's why I dont plant out more fragile plants until mid-May.

  4. Please don't do this! I'm going over to Scotland on Thursday and I don't want to have to put a load of jerseys in my rucksack. Or are we even talking raincoat and wellies?

Ah, you beat me to it. That was my first thought when he said Monday. Good thing Imaginary Being saw this, he'd have felt so alone showing up at work on Monday with no one else there.

If you are lucky it will warm up by Thursday; but if you were coming over tomorrow, I would have recommended a load of jerseys. Stay in Spain, I'm sure it must be warmer! :)

I love gardens that you need a machete to get through! :D

It's why we are all so dismal. We are used to the disappointment of bank holiday weather.

Well, etherea, it's still quite cold. So you might want to start picking out some jerseys to pack just in case.
