My Encounter with a Strange Creature

yeah, who knows, maybe its a shape shifter, like the indians used to be, or even a interdemensional being....

 

I tried googling that "dog man" or whatever.. this is what i found:

sounds like a giant sloth to me.... google it in images and see if that is what you saw... sloths reflect red in their eyes if shined on in the dark... i think they are supposed to be extinct, but hey, whose to say that there are not still some about... hope that helps

 

Megatherium or the giant north american sloth supposedly went extinct 10,000 years ago, but there could have been a few surviving groups living in isolation deep within the north woods of michigan

As for his appearance in the middle of the winter, it’s not all that uncommon for bears to wakeup during hibernation and forage during the winter

I'm from that part of Michigan. The Dog man is a strange story which seems to be true if you believe the lie detector tests given to witness'. The Michigan Panther is another oddity, I haven't seen it myself, my buddy did.

Back around 1984 I was sitting in a bubbies back yard, we lived on the edge of Highland Hills Golf Course, it's a run down little dump in the middle of nowhere. In two directions woods and wetlands stretch on for miles while in the other directions the population becomes more and more dense over several miles. It was a dark and clear night. I sat with two other guys and a girl, a shrill cry for help came from over a hill about 50 yards out, near endless wetlands border the course in that direction, the cry was followed by the sound of many dogs howling and growling at the same time. Somehow it sounded to me like a single animal making the sound, I was only 14 or so at the time.

We grabbed bats and clubs and slowly went over the hill to find nothing at all out of the ordinary.

 

sounds like the dogs were chasing a cougar to me. they do, perfectly naturally make that kind of screaming sound as one of their calls.

personally i'm very glad the cat got away from them.

the cougar/puma/mtn lion spirit is sacred to me. but then of course, so is the wolf.
