I'm ashamed to be human....

I stare at the burger and i think "That's food?" it doens't look like food. It's a monstrosity! it offends my tastebuds just thinking about it. I mean, No lettuce, or tomato? How can anyone eat like that? That's the kind of stuff that makes food. When i go to subway for my veggiemax, the thought of eating it alone abbhors me. What would anythin gbe without lettuce, jalapenos, olives and all the salad. That's what gives it a cool taste.

this thing is just bread, cheese, bacon and beef. I can't understand how many omnis identify with meat as food, but this is just taking the piss - generally, burgers do look edible, but this one just looks like an inedible mass of crap. it packs quite a punch in terms of calories as well. Not that I care, being the guy who loves junk food, but this is very much the kind of burger which even a non-dieter would be apprehensive towards.

put short, maybe i'm losing my touch with the world of non-vegetarianism, but I can't see why anyone in their right mind would order a burger like the one pictured.

 

I actually got hit up fer weed from a dude workin at Hardees.

Haha I got high with a guy that worked at hardees once, while I was eating there no less... It's like taco bell, seems like a good idea, until about 10 minutes after your done...

Thier is one restaruant where i live, it has a burger that makes that burger look small. The thing is about the size of a dinner plate. It comes cut into quarters, caintains somthing like 2 lbs of beef, and comes with freekin huge plate a chips. Two other guys an I stuffed ourslves till our eyes bulged, and we still hadn't finished it.

But that was back in the days when I still ate crap like that.

 

Yeah, Hardee's is an american fast food chain, and not a particularly good one (if any could be called such ) 2lb burger? Damn, biggest I've ever seen was a 1lb burger...

 

I can't stand bananas.Eating one or any prepared food containing bananas makes me ill.But I don't go around telling anyone else that they should not eat bananas.

 

Please. No one is telling you not to eat meat because it makes them ill. The reasoning is because it is cruelty to animals and is damaging to the environment. It is not sustainable. It is a waste of resources.

Meat is sickening for me to look at and I can't understand why someone would want to eat carcass, but that is not why I encourage people to try vegetarianism. The above reasons are why.

Contrary to what many people believe the organic food industry is highly interactive with the livestock industry.Nothing all that vegan about organic vegies.Sure there is cruelty involved with the livestock industry, but the lot of free range animals IMO is generally better off than that of their wild counterparts.I have started a thread in the Pet/Animals forum.

Damaging to the environment? Not if it is done the right way.There is a difference between stocking and overstocking.the other thing to think about in some more arid areas would be to farm camels instead of sheep and cattle.

Sustainable?Well organic fertilizer that comes from animals is a sustainable resource but chemical fertilizers that come from crude oil are not.

A waste of resources? Well chickens are good at turning weeds into bum nuts.Cattle are good at turning maize plants after they have been picked into meat or dairy products.There are all sorts of food matter that is inedible or undesirable for humans that farm animals will eat.

 

Noone should be ashamed of being human...just because humans eat meat...People must be tolerant of others...people r all different .. all belive different things... and that makes people beautiful in my mind..that we have the freedom of choice...

that is so disgusting, im sorry but seeing that makes me want to be sick. In my opinion, how can one person eat suppossed "food", which is actually another animals carcus, i dont understand, i know it will go on for years to come, but its so disgusting. Well thats just me
