ive been thinking about this lately and it got me questioning the very esscence behind people who oppose spirituality and cant really think of a reasonable answer to it other than them being uncontiousley numbed by either the government organization or another source thats making them believe that all there is to human life is money and other corperate foreshadowings.i mean when you think of the matter from a widened view you see the problem is that no one cares about anything but money and is most likely taught at a young age that the ultimate achievement in this realm of life is to get an education and obtain the highest paying job possible so you can gain the most money possible.so what does society view us that would rather live a more spiritualy rich life instead of a more money based corperate life?.well from my expierience they view us as a bunch of illiterate outcasts that cant process anything with more than 2 letters in it.so the question is why do they treat us like a bunch of outcast lowlifes?.well i think the main reason they view us this way is because in thier eyes if you dont have a top of the line job and university degree your a complete failure that should be shunned apon by every living creature.now heres where it gets interesting.if every human being wants to achieve happiness and avoid suffering how come more people arn't trying to achieve happiness instead of a good job?.well actually they are infact trying to achieve happiness and they think by getting a good job there on the path to a better(happier) lifestyle but in all actualness there only obtaining a corperate defined happiness and not true happiness.the reason they get this confused with actual happiness is because they have been taught at a young age that obtaining corperal status to gain more material objects is to gain happiness.but the problem with this is that when you have that kind of mentality you never reach a permanent state of happiness and are always left wanting more money and/or material items.the differance between this and spritual happiness and/or mental happiness is the fact that when you have reached spiritual and/or mental happiness its usually permanent and once youve reached this point you wont keep seeking more and more outside materials because you no longer would need them to gain a sense of being happy therefore living a life of ongoing enlightenment and peace of mind.
