Well, I've been fantasizing about manufacturing some LSD in my room. Have any of you ever made it at home? Know any good recipes? Does it smell bad? Would it make me sick? What equipment do I need?

I can't wait to get started. Even if it doesn't work out, it'll be fun to try. Closet Chemistry RAWKS.

If LSD was easy and safe to make at home, there would be a lot of people doing it. Do you know anyone who does? didn't think so

does your room have a glove box w/inert atmosphere, a blast shield, a fire extinguisher, total darkness option w/low red lighting (& a black light source), room for a rotary vacuum evaporator (& a good vaccum source), hot & cold runnign water, & space for column chramtography for purification? (& yes, some of the solvents & reagents needed are nasty smelling, poisonous, flammable/exlosive, and/or corrosive as hell...

grow mushrooms or cactus, or do simple extractions from plant sources for other potentially psychoactive substances (some kitchen- or garage- chemistry experiments can yield 95+ % pure end products for illicit consumption)

but LSD synthesis is prolly a bit much for ummmm "beginners" in the "rawking" field of homecooking tripstuff... mmmkay?
