...are soo much better than lighters, better tasting that is. Trust me- smoke a bowl using matches and you will notice how much better it tasting it is, more woody and earthy. Agree?
If you want to go for pure taste, I like to use a Beeline. It's a Bees wax coated line of hemp string. It's the best. I keep a small candle buring and light the Beeline off of that. No taste of wood or chemicals from the matches and not butaine hit from a lighter. Nothing better.
ive had to fo it a couple of times due to lack of lighters, and it tasted different, definately. However, they go out fairly quickly and i wanna get high, so lighting 16 matches for every hit i take is not my idea of leisure. I dont like smoking with butane torch lighters. BICs do the job without too much taste change.
This sounds like a great idea. I wouldn't want to use matches because i would have to agree with rooster about the matches. And i would probably burn myself.

I do not like matches unless I'm lighting a blunt with them or a joint. In a bowl it tastes like a carbon not weed. If possible I like burning a piece of glass to the point where it can touch the weed and burn it.. now thats smoooth.

matches are such a bitch to use with a bowl, especially when you're alone or with just one other person, and you want to wait a minute between hits, so you have to relight it each time.
Well, now I learned something. The I-Tal Hemp wick looks cool. It's too bad I just ordered a case of the Beeline. What can I say I was inspired at the time. I was using a Beeline last night as a matter of fact. If I knew about the I'Tal I would have tried them out. Oh, well next time. Either way. The best flavor for the smoke is a bees wax coated hemp line. No Chemical or sulfur taste.
I hate smoking bowls with matches. I love how matches smell though. Sometimes I just light them so I can smell them. lol
Yes i light my bowls with matches too! not my cigarettes though. but i tell my friends to do so, but no one likes it. these beelines look nice. I ordered that spool they have which is 200 feet long lol and that hat they have that has a bee nest pattern!
I like matches when I'm smoking a cig, but I won't use it to smoke a whole bowl.. it would take too long.
