Softball Teams

i was checking for a team to join this year in my area coz the one i used to belong to fell apart coz they didn't have the money to keep going..

The list of teams were..

All Black teams
Native American teams (odd)
Girls teams
Gay teams

So could ya consider it reverse discrimination thats there is no all white team ??

i don't think there should be an all anything team...

I've got a friend that plays for a traveling team. The actually get sponsored so all their equipment is free, and traveling expenses are paid for.

If they place, and do well in the tourney they play in.. they split the prize money. I've heard him saying he's one a couple thousand from one tourney (which take about a month from start to finish).

 

i don't believe in reverse discrimination; discrimination is discrimination whether you are discriminating against the minority or the majority.

the lack of an all white team is kind of borderline on discrimination since there were several all nonwhite teams, but i'm not sure if i would count it or not. the fact that straight white males are apparently not even allowed to play softball in your town seems like pretty blatant discrimination though.
