Last summer I did 19,000 miles in over half the states, 45 National parks and monuments, countless new cool people, sights and festivals. Lived out of a partially converted van, couch-surfing, camping and National Forests.

This summer, in three weeks to be exact, i'm leaving on another grand adventure. From NY to Kentucky to Oklahoma, NM, and Utah to Cali, then up from San Fran to Seattle. I'm looking for people who want to either travel or meet up and spread the positive vibrations across the country this summer.

After a few months of travel, i'm going to either be looking into starting or joining a commune/ecovillage, or get into whatever comes up along the way...

Would love to hear feedback, comments or suggestions on where to go/what to see/anything specific is great.

Here is my trip agenda so far and some other notes on it...

    - Do not be a did not.
    - Trip Cause - Sustainability, Random acts of Kindness, Natural Law (Life, liberty and Pursuit of happiness)

    Trip Agreement
    - Gas and routine maintenance will be split evenly by all riders.
    - Food costs should be kept low by cooking most meals. Groceries should be split evenly, and a rotation will ensure all everyone has their turn cooking, cleaning and sitting back.
    - While we may follow a planned route itinerary, the day to day travel will be determined by the majority. Jay gets an extra vote in the event of a tie.
    - Plan for a laundry/town visit once a week.

Financial Planning (Per person needs based on a 2 month trip)
    $300 - $5/day for food
    $300 - $5/day for entertainment
    $550 - based on $3.25/gallon with 20 MPG (10,000 miles)
    $500 - Car Repair / Emergency Backup
    Total - $1650

How much more room do you have in the van for other riders and people interested in starting a new commune?

It is very possible that someone is backing out of the trip and I will have an open seat. Where are you located?
