Veganism/Advocacy: Get The Connection?

    Anybody here get the connection between vegetarianism and advocacy? They are almost synonomous with us. In the bigger picture, it is our world that we must advodate for, and that includes everybody and everything!

    I know that the Krishna's literature is replete with facts about why large scale meat industrialization is a bad thing. To boot, they always had some awesome food.

    while veg*anism is often connected to advocacy, do not forget that many are there for health and spiritual reasons.
    Note that in the ISKCON lit, the environmental damage is newer info, and later in the pamphlets.
    true, the call for veg options is a consumer advocate issue, the diet is also used by selfish wankers, too.
    Luckily, they tend to be well-to-do and affect the availability of options in the marketplace, not all of which ar egood for the environment, or consumers' bank rolls.
