My husband bought a 20x in a local shop. We were all high from marijuana when we smoked salvia except one of our friends. She got the same reaction you find on youtube.. the laughs, weird feeling, babbling, etc. The rest of us, on the other hand only felt weird stuff like severe dizziness and laziness.
Is it because of being high we didn't experience the regular reactions?

    thanks.

The smoking method probably had more to do with it. If smoke it the optimal way, it will likely work for 1 or both of you.

The first time I ever smoked salvia I was high on cannabis, and it didn't affect me in any noticeable or powerful way. I felt kind of strange and giggled and after about 5 minutes it was over.
The next time I smoked it I was sober and had the most powerful psychedelic experience of my life, so I can't really say whether it was the weed that held me back, or just the fact that it was my first time experiencing it.

ive done it while high and all i got was giggles. I did it again about an hour later and WOW what a trip. ive done it 3 times after that and although it really is a weird experience i can't say any of the experiences felt good. it left me feeling awkward, sweaty, and gross. The days after always seem to glow though and i get a feeling that all the negative pent up energy inside of me has just been swept away.
