This is something that i am working on for art class. I haven't drawn anything other than stick people and triangle houses haha so im pretty proud of it and i think i have done well. My aunt had to help me on some of the things like the computer because of the way it was angled but i had to get it drawn as close to the actual picture as possible. I need to go back and fill in a few more things and fix some lines. I am going to have to color it with some kind of special colored pencils that the art teacher has. What do you guys think? Its kinda big so i had to make it into two pictures.
here, loser. lol The big white shit in the middle is the flash. Ignore it. Pic was too fuzzy without it.
That's really good for your first time, looks like you got some natural talent. I don't even try to draw because I suck at it.
Perspective is off, alot more at the bottom half. The cube seat is really bad and in a universe of its own... Also is that some sort of an angular grid attempt at measuring distances from the reference image? or am i mistaking it for something else... The laptop is focused and almost in the center on the reference, it provides a certain compositional fullness, on the drawing it is really undersized and lacking quality... Also for a linear drawing, crisp lines are the best. I like the sharpness of the photo holder thing on the top left, if the entire drawing was so bold it would appear much more attractive. but the rest is pretty meh. If its your first ever drawing than its not bad. First hurdle people have when it comes to drawing is recognizing form and drawing that, instead of an object the way they think looks like, but this shows best in free hand drawing.
Well like i said the teacher is going to help me with the rest. The top half is better cause she helped me with most of it she only helped me with the desk at the bottom and i did the rest on my own and i know the perspective is off.
