What kind of lather do you use? A friend of mine said he uses lotion. I tried it for the first time recently...and it got me thinking.

Do you shave with a razor, trimmer, or wax it? How often do you do it? Do you do it yourself, or do you get it professionally done? How long does it take you? Do you get cut often?

    Thanks.

Same here but I use one for sensitive skin, because I find that I get less ingrown hairs this way.

I have the same problem. I have terribly sensitive skin and I get lots of red bumps and ingrown hairs

I trim up a bit with a small pair of scissors on the parts I can clearly see, then shave with plain soap and a razor in the shower... however I hate shaving the fleshy area above my slit (don't know what it's called) because it feels like thousands of needles prickling when it's growing back, so I leave that just trimmed.

I shave with a razor every time I shower. Seems to work for me.

I tried using Nare once but it turned out I was allergic, imagine hives all over in that area spreading up your legs...

I always just use my same shower gell and razor for it. Usually about once a week. I've only nicked myself twice.

It helps to trim it with scissors first carefully.

i find that shaving center- out first, then CAREFULLY front to back is the easiest for me. i have a mole in an inconvenient location that has to be plucked around. don't know what i'll do if i ever lose the flexibility for that!
i use whatever body wash i happen to be using anyways, and deal with the growback burn, which isn't intolerable in severity. just mildly irritating.
i pretty much shave my girlie bits every time i shower, which is less often than im willing to admit to. moms are busy people, and we dont really get that dirty XD

Shaving is heathen, but then plucking with some kind of factory-made torture device is downright barbaric. Furry crotches were what God intended! Wear your hair like Jesus wore it (and Mary too).

I use a razor and regular conditioner like I use for my hair.... haha. I don't use shaving creams or gels for anything, they just get in the way for me. It doesn't take me too long, but I dunno exactly how long, and I shave about twice a week--any more often and it starts to hurt.

I hate hair. I had a friend who was always really against shaving, Her bf convinced her to buzz it off and after she got over the breeze she loved it.
I wax all the outer areas I guess you could call it, and the top, too far in and it hurts too much. That way it stays away, and I never get any ingrown hairs or anything. If I shave more then like 2x a week I get bad razor burn and ingrown hairs.
Ill shave the rest, either just with hot water in the shower or with lather from body wash.
I dont get a close enough shave with shaving creams and stuff.

Razor and house brand equivalent to Satin Care. When I'm out of that, I use conditioner. I leave a little hair rim, which I keep trimmed with scizzors. Far too itchy to shave the entire thing, inside and out. I put lotion on afterward to keep the razor rash to a minimum. I find that exfoliating with a scrubby face scrub or something beforehand helps keep it smoother.
