I've been slacking at my exercise.

But I do construction work in the Texas sun, so I get a little bit of exercise.

 I will never complain again.
Lol, probably will, but yeah, you inspire me. Thanks for that.

Um, not true. It's an intermediate level, and technically I did it twice because some of the workouts overlap because they focus on different areas of the body but with similar movements. It was also the first time in a couple months. Beginner level just annoys me, though, soooooo intermediate it is.

Nah, feels great when I'm doing it, but the next day soreness is what gets me.

I know, right? It's annoying, but short-lived. I have my motivation. I won't let it go. I've lost 13 pounds since last June and I'm ready to get back up on that horse after a bit of a lull. I'm so close to where I want to be I can taste it, but I won't get there if I quit. :)

Pretty much, but without the mustache. :p

Here's another free running video. Some refer to it as parkour. This one is of Josh Jarman.

I do activities like this but at not nearly as fast a pace. Indoor and outdoor rock climbing is fun too. :)

That video is... interesting... I don't know about that music, man, lol.

Better now that I'm home with a jug of water. At school all day there's nothing to drink but town water (unless I want to keep buying water bottles, which I don't), and though I know it's better than nothing I'd just rather wait. :ack2: I have to clean out my quart water bottle... That would be better than the pint one I'm working with right now.

    How about you?

Thanks! You know, it used to be much worse. Come to find out, I have had a potassium deficiency brewing for years... possibly a decade. I got on a supplement for a few weeks and have felt healthier than I ever have in my life. It really is time to start over, I think. I'm at a point where I've thought I couldn't do what other people do all my life, and now I've learned that might not be true. Look out bootstraps. ;)

Firefly, you go girl!! That is great that you have lost that much. No wonder you are encouraged to keep it up.

I am sure you will reach your goal! :)

free running and parkour are actually two different, although similar, things.

parkour is basically going from point A to point B as quickly and efficiently as possible, while dodging/climbing/jumping over obstacles as they come. free running is more about looking good and doing whatever you feel like, for example, a superfluous backflip in the middle of a flat straightaway.

    Yes.

I would tend to do free running when I'm feeling artistic and parkour when I'm eluding the police.
