So I'm going to school to become a hypnotherapist and the thought crossed my mind to research drugs that might be of help in a clinical setting to increase suggestibility and deep-trance.

Anyone know of drugs that might be classified as being trance-inducing and legal? THC increases suggestability in emotionals, and cocaine in the physicals... but both are illegal!

Personal experiences with "legal highs" that made you stare off into space for a long ass time? Or that you constantly have flash-backs from the experience?

Cocaine for trances?! Dunno what coke you've been sniffing mate...:p

Kratom probably the only legal high that does anything near that...or amanitas...

Yah, cocaine increases suggestibility for those who are physical, as opposed to emotional... hard to believe I know but it's right here in the book!

I tried Kratom... tell you the truth it didn't do anything for me. Is it supposed to be like an opiate? If so... very extremely mild.

Sorry I'm just going on my probably not-technical definition of 'trance'. Kratom has opiate like action, stimulant in low doses, sedative at higher doses. Prepared correctly, from a decent supplier, its stronger than its legal status would suggest. Amanita muscaria put people in a trance-like state but they can be a bit gross and, unless you buy them from someone who knows what theyre picking, fatal.
