So u know how earth rotates at 1000 miles per hour at its equator now that is relative to fix point in space. But still its kinda weird when u think about it that a plane can take of from USA and fly, land on UK that is fly clockwise with the rotation of the planet huh...how the dam plane left the ground how could it ever catch up to UK if the ground underneaths is running away at earths rotation speeds that is above the top speed of the plane , does the plane fly faster then 1000 well yes and no, relative to a point in space its a yes but its a no relative to earth that is where we are right now.

So how is it possible am not sure I think one out of two or both the fact that the earths atmosphere is part of the planet there for it rotates with it or the fact that the plane is already traveling at 1000 even before take of. That is eg if u trough a dart in a moving bus from back seat to the front it will pears someones eye in the front seats because it was already traveling at the speed of the bus and the force provided by the arm is a bonus.

Ok so far so good but let me ask u this whell happens when the plane fly's from UK to USA that is against the rotation anticlockwise ?

Well duh we all fly in the spaceships from Futurama the engines don't push the spaceship rather the engines move the universe around the ship well sorta...

Now again am not sure but I think when the plane fly's against the rotation it just stalls in mid air well no actually it fly's backwards :D take that aerodynamics, the plane was already traveling at the speed of the planet or the actual atmosphere is going at 1000 with the planet both cases clockwise which ever it is , the engines at take of simply take the edge of the 1000 to say 500 so the plane and the planet are still going clockwise its just that the plane is going round slower or stalling and letting the earth do its own thing.

I suppose we could go own I think there are lot more mind fucks in this subject concerning altitude, latitude and so on but I myself don't have the sufficient knowledge nor will to continue...

I got on a plane at 6pm on one day and got off at 6 pm on the same day.

It was a 19 hour flight.

the plane is still in the earths orbit. it's no different from driving a car, except that ... its in the air. just because it can magically fly doesn't mean it has other metaphysical superpowers

Yes no different then driving its more about speed and the momentum of earth rotation and ur transport of choice relation to it which makes it possible to notice this mind fuck. Oh common is it not weird that when u look down from airplanes window and see how u seem to fly around it, it actually the earth that's doing the traveling for u. I mean how far it to the air do u have to travel to observe earths rotation if u are adding or subtracting from the planets natural force of rotation ?

And yeah dude add time travel to the mix I like it. How many ppl argue that time is human invasion and its not actually real. If it is the truth and it only exist in our perception then technically when u fly on a plane u are a casual time traveler :D
