    Hello there.
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but I wanted to give a shout to any who want to lend support for a good cause. The San Lorenzo Valley Chapter of the Green Party is working on organizing education for youth to teach about environmental issues to better the planet. We are in the process of organizing group hikes to teach the youth the importance of treading lightly upon the Earth, recycling, natural resources, wilderness, clean air and water... the list goes on. We are working to work with state parks to educate, not primarily for the Green Party, more to simply get the message across of the essential need to make better use of what we are given. Any support for the Green Party is of course appreciated, but the weight of this message goes to any that want to help educate the youth as well as the not so young to help save the precious Earth and all we gave been given. It is my hope to raise awareness to spread eco-education worldwide. If you happen to be in San Lorenzo Valley (that would be the Santa Cruz, CA mountains) and you want to help out, please feel free to drop me a PM. We need your support! If this post is out of place, I will post it elsewhere.
    Thanks for your time.
    With love,
    ForestNymphe

Yes, it is, for now anyway. I don't have alot of support so I am starting small. Our chapter of the Green Party is tiny. Perhaps this idea will catch on and others will start activities in their area.
The good news is that the first hike has been approved by a local State Park, and will be something done on a regular basis! I am so excited! In the future I want to see festivals of artists and musicians coming together to raise awareness for the blessed earth. =)

Yay! Another Green! (I'm active with Campus Greens and the Illinois Green Party.)
