Once upon a time, after waiting patiently for quite a while I happened to find my friend lucy. She came to me in the form of sweettarts. I lept at the opportunity to purchase some, because I always feel like every trip we take together will be the last. Shes becoming more and more scarce. But never the less, I purchased my my share, and so began my adventure. I was skeptical of the quality of it all, and let 3 dissolve on my tongue. Sure enough about 30 minutes later my head starts to expand and my body turns to spaghetti. Me and my friend decide to take a walk down the street and appreciate the street lights and ambience of the night, and we around this time we really start to get off. We notice a jogger, well, jogging towards us, and without thinking we decide to jog towards him. I guess this frightened him, and he abruptly makes a 180 degree turn and shifts to sprint. Feeling like he must be running for a good reason, we decide to follow him, because god knows whats behind us. We yell at him, "What are you running from?" but I guess he didnt feel the need to respond. A friend sitting at a 711 on the corner sees us and swings out to pick us up. We quickly forget about running, and the jogger. That is until our friend tells us that the man was on his cell phone, probably calling the police because two very excited people were chasing him. It dawns on us that we were chasing people asking them what they were running from, and this leads to an explosion of confusion and laughter thats oh so familiar yet oh so new. I swear it never gets old. We spend the rest of the night melting away to some awesome toons, enjoying the pictures and illusions of a strobelight. I would close my eyes and with each flash I would see a different picture through my eye lids. It was almost like a stopmotion film that ive never seen before. Unfortunately who ever brought it around isnt around anymore. I cant wait until the next I get to enjoy her company, If only she would stick around.
