They make me feel horrible, period. They can be tough on the old digestive system if you aren't used to them. Must be the chemicals. :ack2: Moderation is not so bad. It's not like you're eating terrible things all the time.
If you want to stop eating them, this might help.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYcSf41O2aA"]YouTube- How its made: Hotdogs
Your human that makes you a meat eater and your body knows it. I prefer all beef hotdogs myself...mmmmmmm beeeefff
I use to run a casing removal machine...it was way more low tech than that one but pretty well the same
They are, but they are also soy which I can't eat And Fitzy, no one is taking away your meat so just relax!
And people should read what I write, I already said they were organic, all chicken hot dogs.... so they are real meat and they have no chemicals in them. I have seen hot dogs made and it didn't scare me off as a kid, there is a sausage factory where I grew up and they made everyone in second grade go on a tour of the facilities. It turned a lot of kids vegetarian for a while. And Tipsy, I wouldn't buy them but my bf does and then they are just sort of there telling me to eat them
We have 2 old school hot dog making companies in my area that make awesome hotdogs. I know first hand that what these companies use quality meats for their dogs and sausages, but these are the only hotdogs I eat. I agree that most national brand of processed meats suck.
I love hot dogs Sara.....I agree....hot dogs are best while drunk:tongue: I could care less what kind of meat it is or whatever else is in hot dogs. They still taste good, imo, and that is the only criteria I follow when deciding what I want to eat.
I worked for a few years in a processing/production plant (was usually in shipping and packaging though) but from my experience in the production end everything was very good meat except for polish sausage...thats where they would put all the "mistakes" from other products and expired product that was returned (of course they saved up that stuff and it rotted by the time they used it :ack2: )...still safe to eat though now that experience has taught me to avoid products that list garlic and lemon as ingredients
