The Tea Party is multiple people. Some are racist, some are not. The Tea Party's doctrines are not racist -- and that is the basis on which I shall judge the movement itself. Now the people in it on the other hand..
African americans with particular emphasis on the first black president. The racism is subtle but everyone knows exactly what they mean h
You compared the Tea Party to the KKK. I'm guessing you haven't been to a meeting/gathering of either. Tea Party Racism?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1CLPhz0DHM"]YouTube video
There's always a few sell outs and uncle toms on the prowl willing to sell their souls for a few bucks Hotwater
Rand Paul's response and further responses to being asked if he supports the civil rights bill today is becoming pretty hilarious.
Conservationist is not racist as far as I can tell. There is a big different between racism and supporting ethnonationalism. One sees races as being inferior and the other sees it is as simply a bad idea to mix and match.
Believing two races can't get along is in fact racist in the fact races are a loosely defined concept that has no definite lines. If we use that logic then no people from any two countries should ever get along together since every country has a slightly different culture. It would be impossible for say Italians and French people to ever live together in harmony.
I'm a Ron Paul supporter, but his son sure got himself into a hole here, and sure doesn't seem like he wants to dig himself out. "Even though this matter was settled when I was 2, and no serious people are seeking to revisit it except to score cheap political points, I unequivocally state that I will not support any efforts to repeal the Civil Rights Act of 1964" That's a classic.
Perhaps not all but most and the rest have simply succumb to regressive racism; things aren’t going to their liking so find the nearest tree and lynch-a-brother H
He's trying to Martyr himself. The more he gets dumped on, the more his "base" cheers him on. These people don't want a national discussion, they want a national brawl. Teabaggers just ain't right in the head. I've been around these people all of my life and I can assure you that they are in fact racists; and like any racist organization, they have their "tokens" to put on display when needed. The thing that most people are still overlooking is that this group has no clue who is pulling their strings. All they know is to show up with hate signs when and where Faux News tells them. The Tea Party movement is an "Army of Dupes," with voting privileges, marching to the drumbeat of Corporate America. You have to marvel at the genius behind this harnessing of hate. .
Who else? The people who are the face of the Tea Party. I suppose that's a possibility, although its more likely that I'm mesmerized by my observations. .
Yes I can. They're my neighbors, the people I grew up with, the members of the local churches and even some of my local representatives. My association with them goes back to the day my parents moved to Georgia when I was 5. I watched the civil rights movement from a white neighborhood, attended all white schools and had friends whose parents were Klan members and marched against desegregation. I know these people because I've lived in their culture almost all of my life. .
Where you live they likely are not as open about their beliefs as they are here. Pretend to be one for a while and you might be surprised at what you find. Or, you might just try reading the signs at the Tea Party rallies; while most are subtle, some of the imagery is pretty up front. .
Sounds a lot like the build up for snipe hunting. How can I pretend to be one when I don't know what one looks like?
