How to get the black out of my hair?

Anyone know how to get the balck out of my hair? Obviously I could strip it but I think thats wicked bad for your hair and you can end up losing it. I have been using blonde shampoo (my natural color) it is kind of helping but I dont like my hair being two different colors right now lol. Any help would be appreciated.

Lots of sunlight, hair will naturally lighten with prolonged exposure to UV rays.

 

Found this and they say there is a product called colourfix which seems to be a little less harsh. Can you match close to your original colour and dye it that way until it all grows in and blends?

The longer you've been dying your hair black the harder it is to get the colour off. Bleaching would work if you've only done it a couple of times, otherwise the bleach will just brutalize your hair as you'll have to use bleach it several times and even then it might not not come off completely. Plus bleach will strip off your natural colour too while you're at it.

I had been dying my hair black for several years and the only way I managed to change the colour was to shave my hair off and let it grow back in its natural colour.

 

you're probably just gonna have to cut your losses and shave it off.

 

I second this motion. Other than this and letting it naturally grow out, there is no way that will not damage your hair in some way

 

oh dear god, i will just keep it two colors and not shave it!!!! lol. I have only dyed it black about 4 or 5 times now. but im just bored with it now. im thinking strawberry blonde? or an auburn color.... i dont know.... i just need this damn black outttt!!!!!
