Hello. Our names are Jesi and Jesse Svensson-Anderson. As a married couple, together we desire to see the world and develop an appreciation and understanding for many cultures and ways of life. In seeking this shared appreciation and understanding, we proceed with toleration and sympathy to others that live differently. We believe that this is the only way such an understanding can be gained and are interested in visiting and learning about as much of the world and its people as humanly possible in the limited time we have on this planet. Much can be harnessed in the world when we engage people on the grassroots level, and working with local peoples to build a wonderful world community through international connections depends on this. We are both artists in the literature, visual and musical fields and can contribute in many ways given our various skills and creative endeavors. Some of our artistic passions include sewing, cooking, photography, painting, sound art and installations, digital imaging and writing prose, poetry, essays and news articles. Jesse has received two B.S. degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Portland State University. Jesi has extensive experience caring for and tutoring children ages 1-12 of all skill levels and has experience on organic farms. Further, we will both be gaining our certificates to teach English as a second language in October 2010 and are interested in journeying abroad. We wish to work with others on building community and travels. We are interested in meeting and working with others from all walks of life, cultures, and economic backgrounds. Upon moving to a new space here in Madison, WI in August, we will be attempting to open our house up as community space with workshops on varied topics, from Scandinavian cooking and sewing classes to Philosophy and academic writing workshops. We would love to meet many like minded and fellow artists such as ourselves who are interested in building a community and traveling through the US and abroad perhaps. Thank you! and we hope to hear from you soon!

haha sorry about that. was less promotion just more of who we are..but we can understand the general maladies of shameless self promotion and the long wary eyed spammonsters.
