    Who here's done it?

Does it make you feel ashamed, too?

I know they're never going to be as sexy as I want them to be.

But how many great movies I've seen because of it!

The only time I really did was when I sat through the 5th season of Weeds (not nearly as good as the other seasons) to see Mary Louise Parker topless... (totaly worth it btw)

    but no, never with movies.

The concept of Weeds pisses me off so much that I've never watched it. And I get my TV nudity from the Internet (except for HBO shows) -- and mostly only watch movies on TV.

I think I do it because it makes a stinker less of a failure overall =P

'Young Adam' on IFC was so much worse -- but that was my fault for trying a serious art movie about sex.

    WAaaiit!..

What's wrong with weeds? It was amazing for the first 4 seasons. Also, it's better when you see those scenes in context. (at least I think... Mabey I'm just weird)

idk.. Your post kinda confused me, you worded things weird. Or maybe I'm just really high...

It was a little (teensy tiny bit) confusing =P

The concept of Weeds bothers me because it makes marijuana look bad. I love that it brought marijuana even more into the mainstream. But the show seems to support the idea that marijuana is criminal by nature, and not because of society.

Maybe I am mistaken though. I don't have ShoTime =P

Idk, I think it actuly depicts the situation pretty accuratly. It doesn't really portray the people who use it as bad, they all are normal people who smoke when they hang out. The criminals are the drug dealers, fighting over who gets to sell what where, and killing each other for it. If weed was depicted as a no consiquence happy solution, the show would be retarded. That just isn't reality. But I don't think the show is anti-herb at all.

(and I don't have showtime either, but if you have netflix you can stream every episode on your computer :))

    Well, I don't have netflix either =P

It's not that I want weed depicted as a no consequence situation at all. But the 'normal suburban housewife doing it out of necessity'-image that they've promoted the show with seems like the 'hooker with a heart of gold' thing. Where dramatic depictions of hookers has only made the depictions seem frivolous in themselves.
I know that their intent is to make marijuana more mainstream -- but relying on that to get into the mainstream seems sorta flaky. One does not have to break the law to afford raising children.

The main character stopped selling weed several seasons ago, actually. Now she just sleeps around with people who are connected to the drug business. :D

Anyway to answer the OP, yeah I do it all the time. It's kind of dumb though, because usually the more nudity in a movie the worse it is dramatically - and at some point you start wondering to yourself "why am I watching this if all I really want to see is the nudity/sex, I might as well be watching porn".

I always hated it when my mom/step dad and I'd be watching a movie and a sex scene would come up. It is really uncomfortable, but if I'm by myself I'll admit sometimes I have gotten a little excited by it.

I remember when I was a kid my sister, friend, and I were watching a movie and all the sudden there was a dick. I can't even tell you how much we rewind that part. We were about maybe 9 or 11 years old. Lol it wasn't even hard so I don't know what the big deal was about now.
