How come I only see users who have been here since 2005. If you look at the bottom of the site it says 2000-2010. So what happened to all the users before 2005?

2004 was the year of the great hipforums plague. it started out as a simple computer virus, but it got quickly transmitted to everyone who logged into their account here, and nobody lived more than 2 days once they were infected.

But like all plagues a few of us managed to survive amidst the rubble and debris of the once great website. scurrying around like rats and rodents and feeding off the decomposing bodies of the dead.

The only hope, a vaccine called ‘banned’ developed by the great moderator who freed thousands from a life of repetition and tedium.
