You know if you google search engine, dogpile.com is the first result. Does anyone use anything besides google?
I think maybe I should. I was a two search-engine kinda guy before Google blew the others out of the water (I miss when Altavista was trying to compete). But Google seems to be getting tougher to find what you're looking for. I don't know if it's just because of the metadata of the Internet getting polluted or if it's Google's fault. Maybe I'll try that dogpile.
I got wikipedia..... then dogpile I just stick with google. I like the simplicity and I'm already used to it.
I heard Bing actually stands for "Because It's Not Google" i only use google. if i cant find what i want there, which is very rare, then i'll use dogpile. I used to use AskJeeves.com back in the day, lol. that shits way old now
I think Google is one of the only search engines that doesn't agree to comply with authorities on what harmful data that is entered, and that Dogpile is actually the compilation of many search engines in one. But yeah, I do notice a shit load of those fake websites coming up first that just mimic keywords. Hopefully they do something about that, it's usually all spyware and people trying to sell you shit
There are times when Google comes up with things unrelated to my search but they're generally right on. I used to use Ask but then it became too filled with ads and stuff. Bing is just ridiculous! I used it on my BlackBerry and it rarely ever came up with results I wanted
