For those who never felt LSD did much visually...

wow... I've never ever seen my visual reality melt into shades of neon pink, orange, red, purple and green like it did last night. Like ripples on a pond - sound morphed into color, colors produced sounds like audio samples of the doppler effect. My body became part of the wave that seemed to be distorting every portion of time and space. Everything moved in waves.

It became completely impossible to have any type of contact with reality, voices sounded like distant echoes, but the language was not able to be understood. I have never ever tripped so hard in my life. This experience both terrified me, humbled me like a child, and produced one of the most beautiful, awe inspiring events of my life. I saw multi-colored lightning come down onto the beach, absorbed, than spit back into the sky. The sand crawled like moving mountains than eventually faded into vibrating shades of rainbow.

As I crawled into bed my black ceiling produced a rain of falling stars while flashing lights appeared outside my window. I am now convinced that LSD is very special in the world of psychedelics. This experience was the result of a 10 strip of good acid. The energy surging through my body felt like my veins were conducting electricity. So wonderful, I'll admit though I was scared shitless, I was't ready, but it didn't matter at that dose I was no longer in any control, just along for the ride.

Some trips are just not as visual. Some are absurdly visual.

 

my largest dose of acid to date was 4 hits of "white on white." that was the most visual acid has probably ever been for me, but it wasn't THAT visual. the most vivid memory i have was the feeling of my body dissolving. like my atoms were filling with helium and drifting off in all different directions. they no longer had a preference to interact with each other, more than the atoms of the picnic table "i" was sitting on (melting into), or the atoms of the snow, or air.

but my main point is, that the visuals were definitely intense but not as intense as described in this thread.

i'm curious writer, did 2 of those hoffmans give you an INSANE, absurdly visual trip? or would it take more like 3 (or 4)?

 

I haven't taken more than 2, because 2 was awe inspiring. I've been taking 1/4 hits and half hits, when i want a 'light' trip. 2 is not a light trip lol. but everyone's different, you may just need more. or less. who knows. you'll know when you try.

the visuals were about on par with the visuals you'd see on like minute 30 or so of a 100mg dpt come up. so pretty solid. but definitely take 4 if you want. my friend just did and he survived, and snorted k and smoked dmt on the peak

i'm gonna take a big dose again soon, like 4 or something. and i want to take another huge dose, like 20, but that can wait a few months don't want to be doing that dose too frequently.

Lately I've been getting visuals where I'm like, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!?!"

You think you've seen some shit, but it just keeps growing and growing. During the peak of the trip my mind speaks in visual music, third eye perception allowing this inner sound to be seen. A lotus shaped net of eyes engulf the room, as neon rainbows and shimmering silver and white lights shine and reflect everywhere.

The space between space expands, more dimensions open up in sound and space. Things will morph and transfigure in hyperdimensional space and leak all around into three dimensional space. Mmmm the coolllooors!

lucy, ah dear lucy. all psychs have powers, they have to, but lucy is very dear to me...perhaps because she was my first (aside from molly/ex)...but for real, she will continue to open doors for you man. glad you feel this way now!

i've done lucy countless times, but mushrooms probably just more than a hand worth...and i used to not think much of them, until my all good trip two years ago on only half an eighth...that was the trip when i saw all the colors and stuff right in front of my eyes, never had i experienced this much with fungus, and it was when i officially welcomed shrooms into my life...but to be fair, i still much perfer acid

 

How much did you take? I was planning on going to the beach too. At night, look out into the distance, see the stars, ahhh. Great write up, has me quite excited.

 

what happens when you take 1/4 or 1/2 hit? you'd still call it a "trip?"

too bad i've never done DPT, to compare. when are you all the way "up" from 100 mg?

 

DPT comeup takes 1 hr, peak is 1 hr, comedown is 1hr. It's a very neat and orderly 3 hour package

1/4 - 1 hit of the hofmanns are primarily mood lifters. giggly. slippery thoughts. psychic lubrication, but no lysergic waterworks. almost no sensorial effects . . . a secret smile
