well I used to like him on SNL, but I think he is way too radical liberal.... he makes michael moore look like rush limbaugh.
I think he's a dork, really. I don't care for his cookie cutter, neo-lib politics, and I really don't think he's all that funny either. I actually find him to be kind of annoying. If anything, Franken comes off as an angry, bitterly sarcastic little troll that thinks he's smarter and wittier than he really is. Seriously, there is much better leftist propaganda out there than Al Franken, who is really no better than the so-called "conservative" propagandists like Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter. Franken might fall on the opposite end of the left/right paradigm, but he's really a lot like the media neocons in the fact that a lot of the books published by these overrated idiots present little more than one person fronting their opinion through often vitriolic polemics, with the intention that the gullible will buy right into it without doing any of their own research and coming to their own conclusions. I would much rather read something based on facts than something based on the meaningless opinions and empty rhetoric of a few overpaid, overrated, talking head blowhards like Hannity or Franken. These people are far from political experts, nor should they be treated as such. They are simply puppets of the mass-media, and they are paid very well for what they do.
