So I got thinking today about what I'd want to do if I ever wanted rid of my dreads. I've always wanted short spikey hair, so, I figured, this would be the perfect chance. What would you guys do? Shave? Cut? Brush?
Id probably attempt to comb, then end up cutting, then just bic my head for the fuck of it. That said I have no intention of ever cutting.
I have had these sort of pimple things on my scalp for years so that would be the only thing stopping me from just shaving completely. I have no idea.. something new i spose...

Haha ty ! I saw a girl on myfriend's facebook who had ight lilac hair, it looked awesome. It was like she had bleached it, but then gotten the lilac tint (yknow the one they use to make it look less yellow) and gone to tooooown.
I would shave my head like GI Jane. Its something Ive always wanted to do...and plan on doing one day. But not anytime soon.
Even thinking about combing is far too much work, I'd probably end up cutting short and combing roots and then forget to brush my hair and end up with dreadlocks again.
ive done some major crazy things to my hair but the one thing ive never done is gone blonde so i would do a cute girly looking fauxhawk and go platinum blonde like this!
I'd try to brush, if it was down to that or cut. But I don't know that I'd have the patience. I really don't plan on ever cutting my hair again, at the moment. As I plan it, if my dreads ever get so long I deem them to be a problem (that is they prevent me from doing things like biking, and/or are too much trouble to tie up/wash) I'll probably just hack them off wherever I feel is the best place, and let the tips do their own thing again. But that's just when they do things like get caught in bike spokes or doors.
it realli is! I get a bit freaked when I think of it. I think what I'd do is just grow them out a good few inches and not bleach them then cut off and try and comb. Then go blonde or some other colour. It would be so weird to go from dreads to a boring style and SO weird to go from lon dreads to a short do people say I'd suit a short cut but I realli don't think I would. I have too long a face. DV I think you'd look super cute with a pixi do and chemi! Not that I think you should cut-NONONO! But I would like to see what you'd look like!
