How can I get this started?

I want to do something about the "war on terrorism" (more like the war for oil) but nobody cares anymore. none of the people i know want to take initiative to stop all the terrible things that are going on in the world. I want to help everyone and help the earth, but i just don't know how because nobody wants to listen. Maybe I should just finish high school and join a nudist colony? haha.

Anyways, i want to better the world and help with all the problems and the environment, but how do I go about making a change?

And by the way, what's up with that oil spill? it could've been prevented and we could be using alternative fuel sources...

When you are doing things that are risky, there is always the possibility of an accident. That is what happened with the oil spill.
Part of the problem is they should have been drilling a lot closer to the shore where the water depth is much more shallow.
The States that are being effected now would have liked to have started prevention methods, but because of the site of the well the Federal government needed to give approval.
When you have a government that is doing everything it can to destroy industry in this country and take it over and continually blames others, the best thing you or any other American who cares is to vote in November and through the rascals out and put in their place people who care about America and the Constitution.
