Desiderata Festival is an outdoor extravaganza of music, film and art in upstate New York that includes five days and four nights of on-site camping, multi-stage performances, film presentations, art exhibits, and wellness projects.

Featuring incredible musicians & DJs from all over the world, the musical lineup spans a variety of genres, including psytrance, dubstep, jamband, live electro, electronica, techno, and world music.

Complementing the dozens of epic musical performances, a full-fledged film festival occurs, featuring independent screenings, premiers, multimedia presentations, lectures and live theater.

Festival goers can also experience and participate in many other activities, including wellness workshops, yoga classes, drum circles, campfires, tribal dances, interactive art and much more; the myriad of activities make for an all-encompassing, truly unforgettable experience.

Wellness Classes begin with a sunrise each morning and commence with a sunset class every evening. There will be classes in Gentle Yoga/Sunrise Yoga, Hatha, Laughter, Pranayama, Guided Sound Meditation, Sound Healing, Yoga Nidra, Shamanic Dance, Metta Meditation, Restorative, Marmapoint, Reiki, Hatha Yoga and Hang Drum Meditation, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Crystal and Sound Healing, MMA: Self Defense for Women and Sunset Yoga. Wellness Classes will be facilitated by Sheauwei Pidd | Christina Sava | Alokananda | Jyotih | Deniele Ramos-Cloutier | Rick Van Der Plas | Dalien | Mariya Matveyeva | Bodhi and others.

The Media Center will host the Film Festival and an array of other exciting events and workshops by Slam Poets, filmmakers, philosophizers, conspiracy theorists, musicians, animators, teachers and a vast number of eccentrics.
