I have been following my dreams for several months now, partly because some of them have been very special and vivid and some even precognitive.

I know about the whole REM-sleep and sleepcycle idea, and that is also what I've always experienced in dreams. Many times you remember more dreams, sometimes they seem longer then they were in real-time, but that's normal. I could even wake up and then fall asleep again going on with the same dream, but even that is normal.

Last sunday however I experienced something that had me really freaked out a little bit.

I went to sleep at around 1 o'clock in the night. When I awoke around 3 o'clock, I remembered a vivid dream (which I am getting used to). It was very long, so that I hardly remembered any details, but I knew that a LOT had happened. So I fell asleep again, and next time I woke up (around half past 5) I remembered, what was the second part of the same dream. But not any other dream, just this single one, which was getting longer and longer. I remember looking at the clock in my bedroom, already thinking that this shouldn't be possible. Again I fell asleep and when I finally awoke at 9 o'clock I had again dreamt part 3 of that same long dream, extremely long and vivid.

Now I know that it IS possible to dream outside REM-stage (it only occurs a lot less) but one dream that lasts the whole night????!!!! Really??!!!

To confirm this experience was the fact that I came to my bed again the following day twice around 2pm and 4pm. When I approached the bed, I felt a huge amount of energy flowing through my body, and when I wanted to sit or lie down, it felt like I was stepping in the same dream again, even though I was awake. Like this dream had been so huge and vivid and consisting, that an aura of its energy remained around my bed during the day. That day I travelled to my own house so I won't be sleeping in that same bed for another week or so. No possibility to test how long this aura would have remained.

And the freakiest thing was, that the one big detail that I really remembered very vividly pointed clearly toward a date in the future: 8 june 2010.

wow that sounds awesome! let us know later how the dreams in the other bed are and what it's like to go back to the bed.

i guess it's all from accumulated dream following? do you keep a journal?

Well, I'm still awaiting june 8th... and I've been following (and understanding) more and more of my dreams the last couple of months. This story of my life (that started last september) is getting crazier every month. People have been telling me I should write a book about it, it would certainly become a bestseller :p

And about the dream I had on 28 february, I lost 3 kgs (almost 7 lbs) that night. My weight had been stable on 78 kgs for at least two months and just went down to 75 within that one night. Normally I have to train hard at least a week to lose 3 kgs... And my weight also has been stabel ever since, I even lost one or two kilos more since march.

The only explanation I have is that such a big dream costs the body so much energy that it is like very heavy training.

I'll keep you up to date about the 8th of june. Besides of what possibly will be happening to me it might be so (if I interpreted some of my dreams and other coincidences correctly) that we will have an earthquake in El Salvador on or around that date.

Well, all we can do to find out is wait and see...
