I want to get into making my own cleansers and shampoos and what not... I was thinking of starting with an easy rosewater toner. But as I was looking more into things, it seems that most have to be stored in the refrigerator. This just doesn't seem practical for me. I know I would get into the shower, and realized I forgot everything in the fridge. Does anyone have any guidelines on what does need to be stored in the fridge and what doesn't? I've also heard of using vodka as a preservative, but from what I've read, it only extends shelf life... in the fridge.
