I keep getting told that using bathsalts with sea salt and natural products can help your dreads lock. So i bought some from a store, and the girl who sold them to me had siiick dreads. Some other chick online (with a salt store) is telling me that since it is scented (naturally scented) that it'll give me dread rot and fuck up my hair. Is she trippin bawls, totally right, or just trying to con me into buying salts from her etsy?

She is totally tripping bawls, mang. Scents have fuck all to do with rotting, you can thank Johnny Clean for this popular misconception.

I bet the girl who told you that they'll rot doesn't have dreads.

Here is a valuable sentence of advice:

Do not listen to any advice from anyone without dreadlocks.

She had dreads, that's the only reason i was kinda wary :p She said that it would leave residue, which i thought was pretty dumb. Thanks a ton :] Bitch be wanted my monies for her shitty sea salts.

She probably waxes then :] Yeah... Scents don't leave residue, especially essential oils. I spray perfume on my dreads. They ain't rotted yet. Werd.

probably. Haha. Thanks for clearing sutff up :] I've been spraying perfume, and using incense sticks, and hairspray, and aloe vera... so i guess in her terms my hair should be on the floor.
