meditation problem

    i just want to know that every time i do qigong or meditation and get very refresh and joyful. the problem is i cant get to sleep every night of the massive energy felt in my body or i can only close my eye but not sleeping just like waiting for morning. And because of that i stop meditating and finally i can sleep at night and wake up tiredly in the morning. any solution for that? :confused:

    It's the first time I here something like this. Perhaps it has something to do with meditation, but perhaps not... in any case do not meditate just before going to bed, if it does that to you... but sorry I cannot help. Maybe you just need very few sleep?

    Hey xelax -- worry not, it's very likely that you are experiencing a very normal part of energy development.
    Like Any Color said, do you meditate just before bed? I would recommend switching it up to first thing in the morning,
    also make sure you take some time to gather your energy back to you after your practice, I like to imagine all of the energy getting pulled into my kidneys, kinda like charging your batteries... Then I always have lots of energy without getting overwhelmed by it.


    It is possible that because of the high amount of energy in your system you might not need to sleep as much... Have you tried meditating through the night and seeing how you feel the next day? just a thought... Hope this helps
