so i spent the weekend by the pool in palm springs. some dude starting talking about my hair and started giving me advice. According to him the trick is after you backcomb you rub egg whites and/or banana into your hair. then you wait 2 weeks before you wash. if you do that your hair will be knotted permanently. all i have to say is LOL!! I've heard some crazy ideas but never heard that one before.

the dude said he "rocked dreads" for a year back when he was in high school and "egg whites was the way to go because this was before they had wax and stuff"

i thought i'd share this tip with all you guys so i wouldn't be holding out. hahaha

Just So Happens I Bought Two Dozen From A Roadside Stall An Hour Ago

On My Way Home From Town.

Two Dozen Should Be Enough I Think, Stand By For A Progress Report

    In A Few Days....

    Cheers Glen.

P.S......On Second Thoughts, I Might Just Boil And Fry Them, Much Safer...:D.

Putting anything sugar-based in hair is inviting trouble. Putting eggs in your hair is well-known to give them body, dreads or no dreads.

I've been told by people with high mohawks that they use eggs as hairspray or whatever they use has little to no effect.

I hope people use cool water to rinse egg out.

Eggs, beer, honey all can be used for your hair. You should always rinse it out but you can use them as conditioners.

yea i've heard using egg whites to spike hair and stuff but this was a first for helping hair lock up. I've never heard putting mashed up banana in hair though lol i can't imagine the gross sticky mess the combination would make.
