Seems to be a popular thing. A dude gets kicked out of a stadium for moving around during the playing of 'God Bless America'.

We realize that New Yorkers have a sore spot after 9/11 and love the playing of God Bless America during the 7th inning which became a tradition after 9/11. But that doesn't give the police the right to pull a ficititous law out of their rear ends and enforce patriotism onto people in the name of freedom. This incident happened seven years after 9/11.

A court later ruled in favor of the person who was thrown out of the park.

Yeah. The police behavior in this incident reminds me of a scene from the old 70s 'All In The Family' TV show where Archie said that he was going to raise Mike's little kid to be a Christian against his will. Archie said, "We're going to raise that kid Christian if he have to break every commandment in the Bible to do it."

I think I was highschool before they stopped the prayer bullshit in public schools here
