Right on! The Cure is an amazing band! How much more can we use it up? Drink it dry? Take this drug? Looking for something forever gone But something we will always want...
Show me how you do that trick The one that makes me scream she said The one that makes me laugh she said And threw her arms around my neck Show me how you do it And I promise you I promise that I’ll run away with you I’ll run away with you
Spinning on that dizzy edge I kissed her face and kissed her head And dreamed of all the different ways I had To make her glow Why are you so far away? she said Why won’t you ever know that I’m in love with you That I’m in love with you
Again I hear a voice Her voice calling my name Write the song and call in the beach And you hear her call A rose some call it And watch the sun come up from the edge of the deep green sea She called my name And faith Saying The stone white clown still laughing after all these years Some people I'd like to meet Everytime you take the way to bring me a smile Never look away from you In everyway I take the way that you smile And never look away from you There's only a picture of her Fuschia rests inside my heart Just with a picture of her Just with a picture of her And write a letter to Elise And you know she'll never write back in a a hundred years Can't touch the idol The siamese twins of fire Figurehead girl IT ALL SITS INSIDE OF ME Just sits inside of me Just sits inside of me A place we can go There's a place we can go There's a place we can go There's a place we can go There's a place we can go Take me there Take me there Take me there Take me there Take me there.
my favorite lyrics in the whole world besides depeche mode's blasphmous (sp?) rumors. and the cure is my second favorite group except fo their new album I don't like it. you soft and lonely you just like heaven...
The Cure is one of my all-time faves. I have many, many good memories associated with that band and their music. Robert Smith's lyrics, to me, are some of the most poetic and meaningful words ever written. I actually just bought the album Wish recently, and just reading through the lyrics, I was like daaaaaamn. Yeah, I am a romantic sap...I don't care. I also have Standing on a Beach-Staring at the Sea-The Singles 1978 - 1985 and a bunch of mixed tapes of their music. Kick ass! Woo!
before audio galaxy bit the dust, I was working my way alphabetically downloading all of thier songs. I think I was up to t or u....but then the neat alphabetical feature I was utilizing went down with audio galaxy and I havent taken the time figure out which tracks I am missing. Most my actual store bought cure is on cassette. I got disintegration and head on the door and staring at the sea on disk however.
I was mildly disappointed with the new one. I like it, just less than all the others. Kinda like that latest Janes Addiction disk, not bad but definitely their worst.
the cure is defiantly one of my favorite bands! i absolutly love them! i dont really love the songs of theirs that are on the radio tho....
