Well that shut me up. LOL Well said musicman, i definatly know what you mean. Do you think they'd still be able to sell albums if their music was the same as it was in the 80's, and appearance, or before the load albums? If they kept it similar, making only slight adjustments to certain things, i'd definately buy there albums. I hate most numetal thats out, it sux cock! IMO
Well, no, not at all. Metal like that isn't big anymore. But, they were millionaires after AJFA already, so the money shouldn't have taken a front seat. But, should and shouldn'ts don't mean shit, as they're making millions upon thier millions, and I'm not.
didn't they record st. anger like nearly 4 years ago? and if i recall correctly james was pretty "messed up" around then i wonder what the next record will be like by looking at james i think he's going to sing about flowers ahh i still love metallica from all of their periods. i like justice least because that just happens to be my taste but yeah...... i actually do like st anger and so does my mate
I liked St. Anger too. The title song and 'Shoot me again' the best. I'm not musically gifted by a long shot, so I just go with what sounds good to me, and this happens to sound good to me. S&M is still my favorite though.
yeah shoot me again is actually a really good song some of the stuff seems pretty simple, like "some kind of a monster" my favs from st anger are shoot me, unnamed feeling and invisible kid yeah s&m rocks big time
Hm... I wouldn't know. I love them all, except for St. anger which I've never really tried, but what I heard on tv wasn't all that good. So if you'd have asked me what the worst Metallica album is, you've got your answer. But the rest is all pretty much equally good, they all have disadvantages and lesser songs as well as brilliant moments. Of course some disadvantages aren't too much of a problem. So I guess I'll abstain from voting. I don't think any live and cover albums should be on that list, actually. Keeping to the regular studio albums would be more representing. Methinks. Ah what the heck, I'll pick Ride the lightning anyway.
aren't you friendly in all honesty at the moment only metallica CD i can listen to without getting bored is st anger
