Get out and see shows this year. You should see every live show that you think you want to see because seeing live music is a previlage alot of people don't readily take advantage of. To me seeing music in a live format is an awakening experiance and is enhancing to life. Even if the band wasn't so good you have the experiance with you and are wiser for it. Heres me so far The Good: Pink Floyd Grateful Dead Widespread Panic Ratdog Bruce Hornsby The Dead Mickey Hart's Mystery Box The Other Ones Leftover Salmon David Grisman Quintet Robert Hunter Los Lobos Cypress Hill Hot Tuna Willie Nelson The Bad Korn MudVayne Blues Traveler Good Charlotte _________________________ Various DJs and such. .....and many wonderful local bands in and around the Atlanta area.
Hmm... I don't value John Popper's obsession with guns, but the man lives, eats, and breathes harmonicas...
Blues Traveler was pretty bad. It probably wasn't their fault though. I saw them at an Atlanta concert series called "On the bricks" down at Cenntenial park and every Friday they would have about 5 bands play and I saw Blues Traveler and Cypress Hill that night with Cypress Hill closeing. Blues Traveler only got about 45 minutes to play so I don't think they really got to let it fly like they do. Cypress Hill was fantastic though. Smoking blunts on stage and talkn' mad shit about all the cops on the scene and really being real as hell.
You lucky bitches, here in Argentina its pretty hard to see those great concerts Well, at least this year wasnt that bad, i got to see the doors of the 21st century and Jethro Tull...
