naturism is about being one with nature and appreciating it as well as having a health lifestyle food and exercise wise, nudism is about being naked, so which one are you talkign about?

Yes, sarababe55, there are real nudists here. Following on from cloud7's comment, you will find many type of nudists: gay, straight, closet, open, experimental, challenged, shy, extrovert, active, sedentary... I've been a nudist for 40 years, all the while blending this lifestyle with my profession as a landscape photographer, my long-reach road cycling, bushwalking and mountaineering. Not to say I do all of those nude (landscape photography yes, in summer, such as now, plus mountain biking through wild bush). So you do the "healthy lifestyle ... exercise" bit and nudism as a normal, free way to be will bridge the gap to healthy deep feeling.

Real nudist here, for close to 35 years. I was a home nudist for maybe 20 years, then finally took the plunge into social nudism in 1997 and never looked back.

The answer to that will vary. Some people would say I am as I have saunas and swim and sometimes sunbathe nude. Others would say I am not as I wear clothes around the house most of the time, and when on holiday stay in hotels where clothes are required outside the bedroom. I've had saunas and sunbathed nude where able to for about 20 years.

That sounds about typical for me as well. Plus we'll hit the nude beaches from time to time.

Although around the house I'm nude quite a bit during the warmer months, when I'm not I will often put on a Button down shirt and nothing else. Gives me the free feeling without being totally nude all the time around my wife since she's not a nudist.
She may say she doesn't care if I'm nude all the time, but it just seems awkward to always be nude around her with her clothed. So it's more of a respect thing from me to her.
I'm slowly getting her nude more often, but she'll never do it as much as I do.

I also don't care for cooking or having dinner nude, maybe if she'd join me.
But outside, by the pool or on the patio I'm most always nude.

    you are wrong

naturism and nudism are the same thing

naturists are nudists from the french word naturiste

a naturalist studies nature or natural history

naturalism not naturism is the study of nature

Just be careful when you're being 'one' with nature. Nature can be dangerous.

Right! "Beyond that fence everything that crawls, flies or squats in the mud wants to kill you and eat your eyes for jujubees."
(Col. Miles Quaritch - definitely not a naturist)

    SCNR!

But, seriously, placing your nude body in places where fire ants or other stingy insects dwell is no pleasure, really.

    Wiggling nude toes,
