I didn't think I would care for it so I didn't see it in theater. But, it was in the 5 for $20 DVD bin at Blockbuster so I got it. Glad I only wasted $4 on it - my grandson gets it as a hand-me-down. Also glad I have fast-forward on my DVD player - kinda hurried it thru in spots.
Battlefield Earth All of the Saw movies The Batman movies with Clooney and Kilmer the Transformers movies/anything with Jerry Bruckheimer's name in the credits aww shit too many I will be listing shitty flicks forever
I admit a lot of his movies suck but Con Air, Enemy of the State, Black Hawk Down, and National Treasure were just plain fun to watch H
that paranormal state was horrible for a horror film.. I could see everything coming before it happened.. I saw the Crazies though and that was pretty good, but I think only once. I saw one with nicholas cage too.. it was something like "the whisperers" dumbest movie ever
I realize this is a bit late to start adding to this thread but I agree with seizedbyanger. I did not think 'the hangover' was very good at all. I watched it smoking once and found it unamusing. I watched it again recently completley sober and I felt as though it had a few sparing moment which made me laugh, but other than that I thoght the jokes we silly, and sometimes I felt as though the director tried to hard to make the jokes appeal to a certain crowd. Anyway, that's just my opinion. To each their own.
What about Manos: The Hands Of Fate, try and watch this movie without laughing at the shittyness of it. No wonder its considered the worst film ever.
Well laughing at a bad movie is often a good sign because at least it had some entertainment value Hotwater
I'd much prefer a movie that's got such a shitty premise and/or budget that the producers kind of accept that and just go for so it's at least laughably shitty (see Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, Snakes on a Plane, or anything by Ed Wood) to a movie that just downright sucks but takes itself seriously. That in mind, I'd have to say the worst movie I've ever seen is probably how to lose a guy in 10 days (I will personally give a medal to anyone with more than four brain cells who can sit through the whole of this shit encrusted fuckfest) or 500 days of summer (pretentious indie bullshit with no point or substance whatsoever). What can I say? I fuckin hate chick flicks.
I never bothered seeing How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, but I rather enjoyed 500 Days of Summer and got the DVD when the price got down. On that vein, some of these don't qualify as "Worst," maybe just bad by certain ppl's standards. I just got a cheap DVD of New York City Serenade and it was a pain to watch - used fast fwd thru much of it. At one point, while the movie was playing in the background I went online to see if Wikipedia would give me a complete synopsis so I could see if there was anything redeeming about it. (Bad when I'd rather read about a movie than watch it). Wiki didn't even bother with it, so I checked Rottentomatoes. There was only an 8% positive aggregate review. I have never seen a score in the single digit. Usually unpopular movies at least get a teen to 20%. So, I wasn't alone on that one - Yet someone somewhere (8 out of a 100) will enjoy this movie.
