I miss my dreads(message for those contemplating getting rid of their own)

Read my post again, note the word I used: PROBABLY , which I will dumb down and repeat what I said:

Wildflowers is a dumbfuck for creating two accounts and getting them mixed up. Darwin Award nomination material is that girl

 

I like this girl, think she is kinda cooky, she was trying to make a point and say how difficult it must be to get rid of something after so long, but im sure for those who have cut or contemplating it have very good reasons, so wont regret it but will miss them on occasion, hell i have the odd day where i miss straight hair and short hair, but love my dreads and dont wanna get rid of them,

Please leave her alone she was just being nice, the length of time she had her dreads doesn't matter, she sorta understands

oh and people can change every day

 

I said probably , I didn't say she would never change, I didn't say all hope is lost, I said probably, meaning she COULD change.

 

Honestly, I don't think anyone who's serious about their dreads is anywhere NEAR removing them.... I still have totally strait hair with my locks, and cutting off 5-ish months of patience is the last thing on my mind.

People can change, I'm currently working on changing too many things to list about my self

I'm also working on my online temper, we can change that together (though I'll pass on your hairstyle changing schedule)

Cuz read above! lol She replied with the wrong account. Plus admin can see the IP address of a poster... she obviously was posting from two accounts.

Shes used a alias account to say how she really feels,she prob knew that she would get ripped to shreds if she used her real account so it was easier to make a new one.

Some ppl on this forum are very quick to judge,yeah so her dreads were'nt that old,does that mean shes not allowed to be sad that she got rid of them?

Im not saying its right to make 2 accounts tbh I think Wildflowers should of posted using her real account and ignored all the negative comments but like I said she must of had her reason for doing it.

I'd say everyone here has the right to feel and post (more or less) whatever they want. It is interesting how some people think that means that everyone should be nice hippies and not whatever they want to be, when all it takes is a little time lurking to get a feel for this forum's dynamic. A lot of silly motherfuckers, people who don't feel the need to sugarcoat their opinions, and gems like chimigals and plenty of other exceptionally nice people.

 

I totally agree with chemi, why put eachother on a dread pedastal and knock others down who haven't gotten past the year...the first few months are the hardest so maybe it is harder to cut/comb after a shorter time because you didn't get what you wanted out of them. People who cut after years and years have had a good run. I think OP, you should think hard before you do things. I knew I was sure I wanted dreads so got them and would never cut/comb without being sure. Next time, think it over!

 

I just knew because she posted a thread in RT asking for new name suggestions and I recognized her style when the Willow account started being used.

I didn't mean to start trouble..I'm pretty sure she just didn't know about the rule and made a mistake..

to the person who gave me a negative rep rating for "outing" her...you can't "out" someone who isn't hiding...just look at the two accounts and you'll see she wasn't hiding anything...she just made a simple mistake

LOL I have an alternative account because I wanted a new name and you can't change your nickname on here. Not because I felt the need to be anonymous. I couldn't give a fuck what some of you **** scabs think of me. I tried to make a nice thread on how it must be brutal cutting mature dreads off, when I didnt even have them for a year and got rid of mine and miss them already. But everyone got all god complex on me. Yes I don't have dreads anymore, yes I realise I didn't have them for very long. But the time I did have them I put up with alot of bullshit, and I enjoyed them. And I thought it was worth making a post about. Fuck you.
