Should be an interesting series. They've had some classics thru the years. Yay tonight.

    Oh, I hate the Lakers.

So I'm a Celtics fan by lack of options. (again)

I always root for the Blazers,so I've always been against the Lakers too,but---have no connection to Boston at all.

Although I was born in California, I feel that Boston will win.

It's set up ---2-3-2,so the Celtics have a damn good chance.

Well- having dropped the first game I'd guess the odds are a tad different now.

The Celtics were clearly out played in game one; but with a fairly strong defensive effort in the second game along with ray allen lighting up the lakers for 32 points, Los Angeles bowed to their will in the final stretch

The Celtics go where Rajon Rondo leads; If he’s aggressive like he was in the second game and we get at least a minimal performance out of KG (who was inept during the first two games) we’ll hang another flag with johnny most smiling from high above the rafters and beyond.

Are you kidding it’s the only other real sport besides football

High flying, high energy, 360 degrees in your face, 3-point aerial attacking, chocolate thunder dunking, Julius Erving pirouetting, Dominique “The Human Highlight Film” Wilkins soaring, Magic Johnson dishing, Michael Jordan high-acrobatic action, LeBron James dunking, Dwight ‘Superman’ Howard blocking, Kobe Bryant trash-talking, Kenny ‘where are you now’ ‘Sky’ Walker extravaganza [IMG]

Since all you hear about is kobe kobe kobe its made me not care for the lakers at all, even though i grew up in the west coast. Plus in a few years when Phil Jackson retires i bet the lakers will turn into the next bulls.

I want the celtics because Garnett has been playing since 95 and he needs another title before retirement. Allen is the best 3 pointer in the game and proved it with a 7-7 in the FIRST HALF. Such a quiet humble player. Who played for years and years on the sonics. Always been a fan of him since he tried so hard in seattle and never got it. Boston has done that for him.

Now its games 3,4,5 in boston. Lakers are in trouble.

I hope it goes 7,but the Celts looked good in game 2. I thought the Lakers got some BAD calls in game 2,but whatcha 'gon do? Nice one Hotwater. Would'nt it be interesting if Wilt the Stilt was coming along now? He is said to be the strongest player to ever play in the NBA. His stats were outrageous. AVERAGED something like 25 rebounds a game in playoffs.

Basketball,to me, is like ballet and liars poker together. 2 to 300 lb players controlling themselves in full flight with beautifull moves with instantaneous changes to fool the defender/s. Like--I'm going to do this--then--no I didn't-I did that-- Fooled your ass. Loved playing ball as much as anything I ever did in life.

Rooting for the Lakers but its kind of like the lesser of 2 evils for me, but since l.a. Is only a few hours away I'll go with them. I do like Ray Allen though for the reasons broony listed but I dunno Paul pierce really gets on my nerves and something about the celtics is just boring for me to watch, especially considering how many superstars they have.

These same two teams again (the ones with all the big money).

    Yankees or Dodgers.

    Democrats or Republicans

Guess LA ran out of money. Well, for the Dodgers anyway. :)

Looks like the Lakers have had about 6 division titles in the past decade. Dodgers have had 3 since 2004. LA is doing pretty good in that respect.

So is Boston, LooK at the Red Sox and Celtics and I believe even a hockey team won recently, and New England isn't that far away with the Pats.
